Family is the number one priority in my life. I have been blessed to have a loving and supportive family that has shaped the person I am today.

 

My parents, Donald and Linda Au, placed special emphasis on education and spending time together as a family. My four siblings and I attended Maryknoll School and are now fortunate to be able to work, live, and raise our own families in Hawaii.

 

My husband, Michael Belatti, a former art student, lifeguard, swim coach, and certified occupational therapy assistant, is now a cardiac nurse at Queen's Hospital. Michael and I share a love for the ocean, with Michael being an avid waterman who freedives and surfs in his spare time.

 

Our daughter, Emma Hoi Yee (Peaceful Ocean) Belatti, is the center of our world. She has brought joy and laughter into our lives, and the realization that there are few responsibilities in this world more important than being a parent. As Representative for District 25, I will work for a Hawaii where she and all the children of Hawaii can thrive.
